No Rating

Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has partnered with multi-award winning artiste  Eddy Kenzo to promote Uganda’s tourism.

In the Partnership, Eddy Kenzo will be ambassador of tourism and wildlife conservation.

“Award winning singer Eddy Kenzo starts a working relationship with Uganda Wildlife Authority geared at promotion of Wildlife Conservation & tourism,” UWA announced via Twitter.

Speaking about the partnership, Eddy Kenzo said, “Today we embark on a new journey as I sign as the Uganda Tourism Ambassador. I shall work hand in hand with all tourism departments to promote our tourist attractions, and I’ll continue flying the Uganda flag so high with God’s grace and mercy. Thank you My Uganda. For God and my Country.”

The partnership comes a few weeks after Eddy Kenzo  handed over his international awards to the Uganda Museum, a move he said was aimed at at motivating Uganda’s young generation to work hard and improve their talents for not only their good but for the country as a whole.

In 2016, State Minister for Tourism Godfrey Kiwanda unveiled Eddy Kenzo as ambassador for the “Tulambule” campaign aimed at encouraging Ugandans to visit domestic tourism destinations.

Kenya Tourism Board would later in 2017 hire the BET Award winner to promote their tourism campaign dubbed “Margical Kenya”.
