Eddy Kenzo Nominated for 2018 International Reggae and World Music Awards
Ugandan multi-award winning singer Eddy Kenzo has been nominated in the 2018 International Reggae and World Music Awards.
Eddy Kenzo has been nominated in the category of ‘Best African Entertainer’ alongside top African artistes like Wizkid, Davido, Ghana’s stone boy and Shatacha Wale.
The awards which are happening for the 36th time, have opened for voting and Eddy Kenzo has called upon his fans for vote for him to win the accolade.
The winners will be announced at a red carpet awards ceremony scheduled to take place on March 18th 2018 at the University of Chicago, USA.
Established in 1982, the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) aim to honor and acknowledge the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artists including: performers, musicians, songwriters, and promoters.
The impetus behind the IRAWMA is its commitment to promoting greater participation and acceptance of Reggae, Caribbean and World Music, internationally.
